What We're Looking For

SHANGRI-LA PROPERTIES is actively searching for a versatile and skilled leader to become a part of our team as a Local Operations Manager. The perfect fit for this position is an individual with outstanding
communication abilities and hands-on expertise. They will be responsible for a broad spectrum of duties, ranging from routine tasks such as collaborating with property owners and overseeing rentals to offering remote assistance to guests and aiding owners in comprehending their monthly statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise operations in Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, CA, overseeing a specific property
    portfolio.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with property owners through proactive communication,
    establishing yourself as the primary expert for these properties, ensuring their cleanliness,
    maintenance, and overall care.
  • Adhere to SHANGRI-LA PROPERTIES’ standards and metrics, including NPS, standard unit
    appearance, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage a budget for your portfolio in line with annual cost guidelines, demonstrating the ability to
    conduct cost-benefit analyses.
  • Effectively lead and maintain a high-performing team, ensuring their training, effectiveness, and
    adherence to all SHANGRI-LA PROPERTIES policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to your team in addressing escalated guest and homeowner concerns, promptly responding to emails, calls, and tickets.
  • Collaborate with and assist your Business Development Representative when integrating new units into the portfolio.
  • Be capable of performing minor home maintenance tasks.
  • Cultivate and sustain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and
    upper management.
  • Offer backup coverage for your manager as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections before guest and owner arrivals.
